Dr. Yvelise Bello Paredes is one of the most prominent figures in plastic surgery in the Spanish-speaking Caribbean. Recognized for her career, leadership, and constant pursuit of excellence, she has dedicated more than twenty years to perfecting the art and science of aesthetic and reconstructive transformation, establishing herself as a regional leader in plastic surgery, anti-aging medicine, regenerative medicine, and cutting-edge technologies.

A graduate with honors as a Doctor of Medicine from the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in 1994, she completed her specialized training in Plastic Surgery and Burn Treatment at the prestigious Hermanos Ameijeiras Hospital in Havana, Cuba, where she earned the title of First-Degree Specialist in Plastic Surgery and Burn Treatment in 2003.

Her academic career includes research related to preventive medicine, plastic surgery, and the therapeutic application of laser technology. Among her notable works are her doctoral thesis on pediatricians' knowledge and attitudes regarding BCG vaccination and her research on the therapeutic effect of low-power diode laser on healing after abdominoplasty.

Her commitment to innovation has led her to further her training in Spain, the United States, Colombia, and Turkey, working with some of the world's most renowned specialists in facial and body surgery, advanced aesthetic medicine, laser technologies, VASER, and J-Plasma.

In October 2024, she participated in an international fellowship program, observation, and training in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery at T AS Medical Center in Istanbul, Turkey, under the direction of the renowned Professor Dr. Süleyman Tas.

In April 2026, she furthered her training in New York through a Master Course led by Dr. Ramtin Kassir, focusing on advanced facelift and rhinoplasty techniques. That same year, she obtained ISSCA certification in advanced peptide therapies and regenerative medicine, strengthening her comprehensive vision of aesthetic rejuvenation and longevity.

Her professional practice integrates a sophisticated aesthetic vision with a deep respect for the individuality of each patient. A specialist in body contouring procedures, facial rejuvenation, breast surgery, and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Bello is distinguished by offering personalized treatments that harmonize natural beauty with safe, elegant, and long-lasting results.

Her experience also encompasses post-mastectomy breast reconstruction, a practice she considers an opportunity to restore not only anatomy, but also patients' confidence, identity, and quality of life.

She is a member of important national and international plastic surgery societies, including the Dominican Medical Association, the Dominican Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SODOCIPRE), the Ibero-Latin American Federation of Plastic Surgery (FILACP), the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), and the South American Plastic Surgery Society (SAPS).

She has been a Full Member of SODOCIPRE since 2009, an Active Member of ISAPS, and an International Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Her professional career has also been recognized internationally. In June 2026, she received official honors from Governor Daniel J. McKee, Treasurer James A. Diossa, and the Rhode Island State Senate for her professional legacy, contributions, and commitment to diverse and vulnerable communities.
